the win. chestnut street in the city was another place fans gathered to cheer on the giants. hundreds of people gathered there for a peaceful but loud celebration. >> and for good reason. and for the first time, giants had to come from behind last night for the victory. they were tied up in the 10th. ryan was on second. after he singled and marco delivering a two out hit. gave giants a 4-3 lead. that was your game winner. and surgio took care of the tigers 1, 2, 3 in the bottom of the 10th. winning 4 games to 3. >> couldn't be prouder of these guys. to be world champions and two out of the last three years, it's amazing. >> and then the champaign. the giants will fly out of detroit in about three hours. i don't think they went to bed. they arrive at san francisco at 3:00 this afternoon. i'm sure there will be a few people waiting there. and the celebration will continue through wednesday where san francisco holds a parade. start at market street and wind its way to civic center plaza. for all things giants we have you covered including championship and world series gear. head to our w

. take public transit. we know the first pitch is 5:07. pre-game activities start at 1:30. the city has a plan in place to accommodate the thousands of fans coming into the city. the vallejo baylink ferry will have a specific ferry to each game this week. each one holds about 300. they will have extra staff to help everyone out with the mta schedule. the mta shuttles will start three hours to take people to the park. mayor lee says san francisco will be ready for these huge crowds. >> we are going about our work in a time constrained way to make sure that everyone who comes here whether it's to our airport or to muni and the public transportation all are taken care of. >> now, i checked in with each form of public transit. there are ways you can buy your tickets ahead of time and doing this will save you those longer lines. so on your way to work this morning, you might want to check in with them and plan ahead. i know that the embarcadero station here where we're close to will be offering prepaid tickets for roundtrips starting at 2 p.m. this afternoon. so if you do take a lunch break, t
